Terms of Service

These terms apply to all platforms where Oridenia chooses to host itself and all registered species and characters, regardless of whether their owners have read them or not. Failure to comply with these terms may result in a ban and denial of service.

Please note that these terms may be amended at any time without prior notification.

General Rules & Guidelines

Unless otherwise specified, Oriden species are closed species and are deemed officially part of the Oriden species only when they have been approved by our Staff and added to our Masterlist. For a species to be recognized as official, it must have a Masterlist entry.
When you create a character and have it officially added to the masterlist, you are acknowledging that the design will remain there permanently and cannot be removed for any reason. However, you are allowed to privatize your character listings to disable the Masterlist links.
Under no circumstances can a staff member, including Laarkin, revoke the ownership of an Oriden Species character. Please note that we do not monitor the ownership of registered characters, and therefore, we cannot be held responsible for any disputes that may arise from third-party transfers.
We reserve the right to ban users without prior notice if we deem it necessary. The identity of banned users will not be disclosed to the public unless the users pose an immediate safety or scam risk. Users who have been banned from Oridenia may request an appeal of the decision with the staff. However, please note that appealing does not guarantee the ban will be lifted.
The Oridenia community is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all members. We have a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, bullying, or hate speech of any kind. We embrace diversity and will not tolerate any form of discrimination or prejudice towards any group of people based on their race, gender, sexual orientation, or other personal characteristics. Violation of this rule will result in disciplinary action, which may include warnings, temporary bans, or permanent expulsion from the community. While we encourage open discussions and exchange of ideas, we ask users to be respectful and refrain from engaging in conversations that may cause discomfort or conflict. If necessary, we may ask users to move such discussions to private messages.
If you need to report any concerning behavior from an Oridenia staff member, please feel free to contact any of our administrators with whom you are comfortable speaking. Please note that we may ask for supporting evidence, such as screenshots or logs. We take all reports seriously and will investigate them thoroughly. While we cannot disclose the specific disciplinary action taken against staff members, we can assure you that appropriate measures will be taken if necessary.
To ensure efficient communication and maintain clarity, please refrain from directly messaging Oridenia staff except for staff conduct concerns. If you have any questions or clarifications, kindly post them in the #help-me Discord channel. If your question pertains to a specific comment, please reply to the original comment to provide context and enable us to provide better assistance.
Oridenia strictly prohibits all forms of cheating. Any participant found engaging in any form of unfair activity will be immediately disqualified from events or activities and may face disciplinary action, including permanent expulsion for particularly serious offenses. The determination of what constitutes cheating will be made by the group administrators at their discretion.

Cheating includes, but is not limited to, using multiple accounts to bypass participation limits, soliciting help from others to win raffles or events, and engaging in any other behavior with the intention of gaining an unfair advantage over other users.
The staff members of Oridenia may participate in any activity or event that is available to group members. However, they are not allowed to be involved in the judging, rolling, or distribution of prizes for any event or entry that they have created or that includes a character belonging to them.
Our community upholds strict guidelines that apply to all members equally, without any exceptions or special treatment. Members are not allowed to request custom artwork, breeding slots, or exceptions to the rules based on personal connections or loyalty. The following requests are strictly prohibited:
- Requesting access to unreleased content.
- Requesting custom designs, semi-customs, or exclusive imports.
- Asking for free handouts, including items, markings, traits, slots and other similar things.

Import & Submission Guidelines

Before participating in any of the group's activities, all designs submitted for approval must be reviewed and accepted by an Oridenia staff member. We hold our designs to specific standards that are subject to approval or rejection by our group staff. If a design fails to meet our standards, a staff member will provide constructive feedback and suggest necessary changes. Once the required modifications are made, the design will be approved and ready for use in our activities.
Designs that depict markings or features heavily based off of media, politics, or religious content will automatically be rejected.
Users are free to create their own designs using the resources provided in our Discord or by drawing their own lineart. Alternatively, they may repurpose a base to use for their import. However, tracing any private bases or linearts for personal use is prohibited. This includes any personal or official lines that the user does not have access to through normal means.
Oridenia does not support the use of its content or characters in any sexual manner or style. Any user content that sexualizes Oridenia characters is strictly banned from being posted in any group or gallery associated with the group. While users are free to create and use such content, it may not be displayed or used for or within the Oridenia community.
The ownership of an import or character cannot be shared among multiple individuals or entities. Each character must have a sole owner who has exclusive rights to use and control the character.
Imports must have a ToyHou.se character profile, have an approved design, and be a member of the Oridenia World before it can be used in community activities.

Sales, Trades, & Advertisement

The official sale of Oriden Species, slots, and species items is only conducted through our shop, and we are not responsible for any third-party sales. All purchases made within our community are final and non-refundable.
In our #self-promo channel, Oridenia allows members to advertise their art, writing, characters, and services. However, advertising for other discord servers or species is prohibited. Any users who join the server solely for advertising purposes will be promptly removed.
Users may sell or trade slots and offspring at a price of their choosing as Oridenia does not place any restrictions or limits on the amount charged, the cost of slots or offspring is entirely at the seller's discretion.
Oridenia is not liable for any financial transactions made during third-party sales. Users are solely responsible for any transactions they participate in. Oridenia will not intervene in any transactional disputes, except in cases related to fraudulent activities. The offending user will be removed.
Users are prohibited from selling or trading breeding slots until an import has unlocked the ability to breed.

Disclaimer

Oridenia is a Discord-based RPG, or roleplaying game. Although Discord is a downloadable application, Oridenia is not. Rather, it is a chat-based roleplaying game where players adopt characters, level them up, and earn rewards through their participating in the game.
